This is an imovie made of glacier calving clips taken from Childs Glacier in Cordova, Alaska. All the calving clips were taken on June 25, 2010. It was a VERY active day for the glacier! :-)

Interesting! But, to me, the people who write the titles have a different definition of "calving" than I do. To me, calving means a sizeable chunk is "released", leaving an iceberg as a result. That is NOT what is being shown. These videos seem more like "disintegration" than calving. Its little parts breaking off, not icebergs. IMHO
